Hi! I’m Sophia Wang and I’m a junior at Chamblee High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Ever since I was introduced to the German language and culture in 4th grade, I’ve developed a love for it and continued to explore it through experiences such as taking fluency exams, participating in our school German Club and German National Honor Society, and attending the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program as a German major. Along with German, I enjoy playing soccer and basketball, spending time with my family and friends, and listening to Taylor Swift.

As the founder and president of SYGEA, I’m honored to help students have better access to resources for German education, the mission that drives our platform.
